how would you rate the CZ P07

Whatever you’re shooting just get the sights right and the trigger the way you like it and keep practicing until the shots land where they should. A decent shooter is very capable of shooting well any of the guns we’re talking about here.

I’d give it a 8, never owned a 10. I’m one of the few that likes CZs poly guns better than their steel. It’s the best SA/DA I’ve ever owned and I would highly recommend it. Been through the Sig and Beretta family as well as others.

I do not own one myself, but a buddy of mine does and i have shot his on many occassions.

Great pistol as is to be expected from cz

My only real issue with it is the lack of spare parts / after markets parts ( at least here in Europe )

But i can imagine this is not an issue if you live in the USA

The P07 is one of my favorites. It runs on every type of ammo I give it, is accurate and a smooth shooter. I have other CZ guns and they are all excellent. The only change I do from out of the box is Talon grip which I use on all my pistols except 1911’s.

When it comes to reliability 10
Aesthetics 5
Ergonomics for me 7

That said, its not for me. In plastic guns i dont look beyond HK and Glock. For CZ the 75 line is best. I had a phantom, shadow, And Czechmate but all gone except 75 and that in auto. That concludes the 75 and CZ lineup for me.

P07 take a little wider magazine than the normal cz 75 magazine..right?

"Just about everyone loves the Gock 19. The P07 is like a hammer-fired Glock 19 but a lot more accurate. I love mine."
^^^... better trigger, better ergonomics, Hammer fired +++, and a 1911 grip angle & feel. Only weakness as far as I'm concerned is the "de-cocker" design. I still prefer my &% PCR, but a great pistol.

I have a suppressor version I dropped the cajun kit in. it's nice enough, though I have a high grip and long thumbs or something. The decocker/safety gets in my way. I also have problems with the ruger mk4 safety, and a lot of folks don't, so maybe it's just me.

I tried to dye the FDE gun black, and got a navy blue, which I kind of dig honestly.

I like it! If it were a factory option at the time I bought mine I would have considered it.

yeah, I kinda hated the "urban gray" color, but a buddy sold it to me for a price I couldn't refuse, and I needed a host anyway. I still wish I had achieved black, but the blue in inoffensive. I'm still hunting a better host though. My loads are so light because I'm having to keep them subsonic in an 8" AR, that they're not quite powerful enough to 100% cycle the p07 with a heavy can on it. I've been eyeballing the beretta 92's due to the lack of tilt barrel design, but
1) they're expensive
2) they don't make a version with a threaded barrel and suppressor sights that I have found.
3) there are reports that the huge open slide design means lots of crud back in your face.
4) they're stupid expenisve
5) trigger and ergos are only so-so

sparkyv: "How can you even say that? Now I've gotta spit.,"
Actually I didn't say that (I was repeating an earlier post, #13), and then adding comments below it of how the P07 was an improvement over the Glock 19... I don't particularly like Glock ergonomic's or triggers.
