Honorable Congressman Cannon.

I emailed you approximately one month ago concerning H.R. bill 1022 and have not yet heard back from you. I do realize that you are an extremely busy man, and sometimes you don't have the opportunity to address every individual who contacts you, and that is totally understandable.

I would like to state that I have noticed that H.R. 1022 now has 12 co-sponsors, and because of this it stands a much better chance of passing the House and going to the Senate.

Please let me restate, Sir, that I am very much opposed to this bill. As a whole, it is nothing but an affront to our Constitutional right to keep and bear arms. I again urge you to aggressively oppose this legislation. It is very broad and far reaching, and as it is worded, there are many firearms that will be banned that would have no business being banned, even if this were a well-meaning bill.

Please Sir, do not let this bill's passing be another step toward the citizens of the United States losing all of it's Constitutional rights. Oppose it vehemently, and urge your fellow congresspersons to the same!
