Just got one for free:)

Seems to be a fair quality older shoulder holster.

Question one is what firearm is it designed to fit? Appears to be a slim framed semi-auto (or an Easily-Concealable AUTOMATIC GUN, depending on your point of view)

Question two- it has some minor mildew and a very slight "moldy" odor:mad: What would be the best way to "rehab" this holster?

There's no corrosion on the (brass?) fittings:) and the leather looks to be in preety good shape:)

Also, the spring retainer to hold the gun in seems to be really tight, as if it hasn't seen much use:)

Any advice and also anyone who knows the time-frame this was made? Tried to Google it but Windows 10 and my laptop don't play well together:cuss:

Apparently from what I could decipher from an old Hunter Holster chart the 33-30 number denotes the specific holster, in this case a shoulder holster. The 54M basically means it would fit a certain size revolver or semi-auto pistol. The list is quite extensive but seems to include most small and medium frame revolvers from .22 to .38 with a 4" barrel, along with a few semi-autos. Some of the models that it will fit:

Revolvers:
Astra Cadix
Colt Commando
Colt Cobra
Colt Official Police
Colt Police Positive Special
H&R 622
H&R 732
H&R 922
H&R 929
Iver Johnson 55
Iver Johnson 68
Iver Johnson 833
Iver Johnson 844
S&W I frame, J frame, and K frame

Semi-autos:
Colt Model 1908
Star Model F
Walther PP
