I have an early model S&W 4506 that came with the curved factory grips. I don't hate them, but the straight grips are a better fit for me. A few years back, factory grips could be found just about anywhere for less than $20.00. I have looked high and low and cannot find anything... anywhere!

Anybody got a line on where I can find some?

Yeah, those OEM grips are getting harder and harder to come by. Even the 59XX series are not always available anymore. Your best bet is Gunbroker or eBay, but the OEM grips on there are pretty chewed up. Even the ones that are supposedly in "good condition" look like crap.

A new set on auction sites sites will cost a lot more than $20, too. The other way is to go aftermarket. Hogue makes some decent grips but they are a little thicker than OEM.

4506 straight back grip

Gunbroker, gunbroker, gunbroker, factory or a show. Hogues'= too much grip.
no decent aftermarket; for a real change, see if you can score a 1076 grip:
cross between flatback and CZ75 cut and the cut for the decocker doesn't interfere with anything; I got one from S&W years ago, but doubt it anymore.
Cheers, TF

Found a dealer on Gunsamerica.com who has them... but he wants $32.00. I think I'll wait for Midway, CDNN, or something to pop up somewhere else.
