I know there are a few members on here from Hawaii. I have a buddy who is going to Hawaii tomorrow (3/30) and was hoping to do some hunting while he was there. After talking to a few people there he’s gotten a little discouraged. He was told that the locals could be a little territorial and doesn’t want to ruffle any feathers. If anyone has any suggestions on where he might be able to go without trouble, I would like to try and help him out. He’s staying in Kona on the Big island.
You can pm me if you don’t feel comfortable posting in the thread.
I appreciate any help, and look forward to your replies.

Loonwulf is one I was hoping would respond. I just couldn’t remember his name. Thanks for the reminder

Pig or goat would be his preferred critters. I don't think he took a rifle with him. as an outfitter told him he could rent a rifle for $50 while he was there, and it would cost him $80 to take his with him. He did indicate that they would be driving a jeep of some sort while there.

Goats theres a couple spots down south he can probably access, sheep/pigs theres a few spots on saddle road that might work for him.
