Hunting Turkey, sort of.

We will be traveling to our Daughter's house in a little while to "hunt" some turkey, or at least part of one, along with some pumpkin pie, chicken dressing and all the Thanksgiving trimmings.

Which reminds me: Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends on the forum! Good hunting and straight shooting! We have so much to be thankful for in this Nation, even with all the warts.

I haven’t figured out a good way to turkey hunt on thanksgiving, but on Easter we hunt Easter eggs. What plastic eggs are in rough shape get tossed out in the dirt pile in front of my normal target and then they get blasted to smithereens by the kids with BB guns and 22s. Maybe I just need to make turkey shaped targets and bring out the .410s

We have a fall turkey season in Fl. In reality, it is a matter of someone hunting deer getting an opportunity at a random turkey.

we have fall shotgun turkey season and archery turkey season that runs concurrent with archery deer season.
