Fly season has arrived and I loaded up the A-salt rifle yesterday day and got in my blind on the patio. I did in a bunch of them and three of my gg daughters were here and the two oldest took care of more. It has warmed up enough this morning for them to become active and I have already done in several. That annoying automatic safety has quit working which makes it even more fun slaughtering the annoying little critters. It is deadly out to sound 3 1/2 feet on ordinary sized flies. Horse flies take a double tap unless they are very close.

I saw those A-Salt guns at Sam's Club a few years back, but I didn't like the idea of leaving salt granules everywhere, so it seemed to be just an outside toy. Can you shoot them on the wing, or is only for picking off the ones that have landed?
