My buddy offered up a few guns from his late father’s estate, all overly reasonable to a point of being cheap. A few Taurus 38s and some higher end stuff that just didn’t appeal to me all that much. I was tempted by the K frame sized Taurus with adjustable sights. I think it was a model 64, but I just don’t really want or need another plain-jane 38. Then there’s the little INA 32 long. Tiny, very good condition, pretty wood grips, 3” barrel… $100 so yeah, I think I need it. I had another one identical to this a long time back and it was beat to death, but this one is almost like new. It checked every box on my list… I’m a sucker for 32s, even more so if it’s an oddball of some sort, gotta be pretty, blued, and with wood grips, 3” is how god intended small revolvers to be built, and cheap. What’s not to love? It’s an early Christmas present from my parents.

Great little gun for your kit. Impala horn?

My Dad has a really nice 4" Tiger in .38 SPL.
He's never shot it. I don't know if it's because its so clean (maybe unfired), or because of trepidation over the gun's quality....😆

Honestly, it doesn't seem that bad, at least as good as a contemporary Rossi.

Hard not to like a 3” barrel 32 revolver ! INA, S&W, and Taurus.

I really like that Taurus and I have tried a few times to get one but no luck yet. I’m pretty picky about THAT gun though, I want an older spesco/falcon Taurus with ridged cylinder flutes. No real reason for being so particular, but I want what I want.

The guns were (from my understanding) direct competition with Rossi and early Taurus guns. Very similar quality, likely better in some respects, but when Taurus and Rossi started getting government contracts that sealed the fate of INA because it was a situation of “economy of scale”.

Dad has a Falcon/Taurus as well, with the ribbed flutes. Its definitely a step below the excellent Taurii of the late 80's, and the timing is off on one cylinder.

My S&W 30-1 has one chamber slightly off. 5 of 6 go into a golf ball sized cluster and the other one goes a little low and right. I still love the little gun and shoot it more than anything else I have currently. It was my 1st anniversary gift. Came complete with trashy hogue Goodyears and a silly cheap price tag. It got Altamont Altai grips and it will have those grips at least until my ride on this planet is over.

I happened to pick up a Taurus 741 this week myself.
Absolutely excellent condition, adjustable sights, 3 inch barrel, 32 H&R Mag.
I bought a 3 inch S&W 32 HE a few weeks ago, and a Zastava m70 a few weeks before that.
I guess you could say I've been on a .32 binge lately.

Both need a good wipe down. But look great in person!

I've never even seen an INA arm. If the mechanical condition is good, I'd say you got a steal.

If any of you guys know how to bodge an old Colt action, Simpson's has a pretty nice .32 beater for sale right now. I called and decided to pass when the sales clerk admitted its lockup was safe but a bit loose.
