I went to a pawn shop today to check out a Fender P-bass they had on their website. I brought along my Ruger 10\22 carbine on the outside chance they would want to trade. The bass needs some work but the Ruger hasn't been fired in years.
After going back out and grabbing the rifle, I was stopped and told they don't take that kind of weapon. Puzzled, I asked what the problem was with my little 22 plinker.
I was informed that the removable magazine makes it an assault rifle.
I guess the factory 10rd magazine and cheap 4x Tasco scope means this is a serious assault rifle. Really odd considering I bought it during the AWB.
Anyone want to buy my scary black assault sniper rifle? A bargain at only $1,200 or trade for a 90s vintage Japanese P-bass in need of some TLC.
