I think this MOSTLY applies to semi autos, but I find myself to be in no particular "club" when it comes to semi auto handguns or types of same. I kind of like them all. First, there are those people that are in the sometimes exclusive "1911 Club", and swear by a 1911 .45, or other appropriate cartridge, but have a variation, full size, micro, commander, Bobtail, etc, and move up to the exclusive end of the chain when the gun goes from $500 to the $4000-$5000 mark. To them, anything else is unsuitable. Then there is the "Glock Club". No fancy stuff or $5K guns for them. Simplicity, and stock, most often beat out the custom guns, although those guys with Glocks that have been sanded down or stippled up are allowed to belong. Then there are the HK (does anyone sand down the grip on their HK?), SIG, CZ, HiPower, etc clubs. Not as big at the first two, but still very loyal followers to each. I just can't commit; I love them all. I see beauty in each, and rotate my concealed carry, etc, to make time with my guns. Does anyone else suffer this "promiscuous" relationship with firearms, or are you in a committed relationship, looking away from the rest?
