 ;)

In My Early days of Shooting... I would GOBBLE up whatever i saw at the range/Desert Shooting Area... 9mm....40....45....357...223....7.62... 30-06...270... if it was Brass i GRABBED It....

Then i started to be picky  and start separating them as i grabbed em....... 9mm 38s/357 and .223.... maybe a BIG Group of .40 and .45 and toss those in a separate Bag.....

So i have a box that probably has 4-6k 9mm in it... a few Strays of 40 and 45 which are easy ta find and Pull..... BUTT and its a BIG BUTT...... Since i have been loading and shooting more 9mm (Planning for my 1st Shooting Competition) all my own 1x and reloaded Brass, well, is Re-Loaded... so had ta DIP into my Range Brass Stash

HOLLY CRUD....... and Yes i got Lazy i guess..... and wasnt Checking the Brass....
So far.....

6-380 Brass , which will Take a primer and Load a 9mm Round... oh ya... and it Shoots as well..... i shot 1 ... So i know
about 30+ Military Brass.... HATE EM  ..... So Figure since most are 50rd Boxes i got 20 More ta find... and Found 10 more today :D

So has been a Great... but a few FRUSTRATEING few days........ i just Sorted about 300 brass and found those 10 BAD BAD BAD brass.... I hate it when things try and undermine my Fun Hobby..... BUT.... I have No-One to Blame but Me... ya I got a Bit Comfortable and, well.... Ya Can get BlindSided for sure..... Better on the Bench than in The Field

Anyways... back ta reloading some SORTED 9mm's

After cleaning my 9mm range brass I stand them up on a level surface in groups of about 25 and cull out any "shorties".

I don't sell them, or even know the guy. Being a --deleted-- as my friends call me, all I can say is I'm glad I finally spent the money as its saved me sooooo much time I feel its paid for itself.

I always sort my brass anyways. I generally catch the .380's, but they feel very differnent going into the sizer (almost no resistance) so the few that I miss I have caught when sizing.

I make sorting and inspecting brass a top priority. I just do it as it comes out of the tumbler so it isn't even an extra step really.

Well as of the last 2 days....... i have learned my lesson....

Ya think with all the steps with .223 I would NOT have had these issues.... I guess considering the 10k rounds of 9mm I have loaded and shot it is a Small % of issues.... But even 1 in 300 for this Scorpio brain is TOO MUCH:p

Good day today even with some Challenges with brass... loaded probobly 300rds.... Sorted as Many... Cleaned all 3 of my Lee pro 1000 turrets and Die's....... Cooked a GREAT diner for my Sick Wife.... Got some Good Vitamin D Sunshine... (Rain Coming Tomorrow for 1st time in like 75 days here in AZ) and even Prepped about 300 .223 Brass

Well back at it Now..... Time for some .223 loading and WATING for the 124gr Pills ta land Next week.....

As always I appreciate all the feedback Guys... thats why i come here every day... and Night and see what ya All are upto
