... but after looking for a while for all the different IWB holsters available for G26, I realized they all seem to have one big disadvantage when compared to Glock Sports Holster.
They are thick.
It seems kind of pointless to buy a small gun & outfit it with a thick piece of kydex or a thick piece of kydex on top of a thick piece of leather.
They all share the same common trait, too - they are done in a semi-garage mode by people who definitely know what they are doing, but don't have access to the high cost industrial injection molding tools that Gaston uses. They have to form premade sheets of kydex, Glock just molds liquid plastic into a form. They can't achieve the same thickness or fit with the tools they have. Again, not to say they don't make great holsters.
So, I ordered a clip & kydex-rated adhesive strip, and will try to make an IWB holster out of Glock Sports holster. I will post the results once it's done. The tricky part is to find the right riding height, if that strip is like some other 3M strips I used in the past, you only have one shot at it and then it can be only separated with pliers & much swearing.
