is the beretta 303 a decent field gun and is there anything i should know, good or bad? the rem 11 is in pretty good condition, small crack in the butt stock near the reciever that will need to be fixed before shooting.
Both excellent for their intended use. Way back, my buddy hunted with his grandfathers old 11. He claimed it had already killed s boxcar full of ducks down on the Illinois River in the 2os and 30s. I fixed a couple cracks in the stock. Just be sure you have the rings set right before you shoot it. Most had a paper alignment sheet in the fore end but most are gone after sixty or more years. Hundred and thirteen year old design based on the Auto 5.
Beretta. Choot em.
I have a 11 in 16 gauge. It is in fantastic shap. Picked it up a year or so ago at a pawn shop. Replaced all springs and friction ring and it is a favorite of mine now.
