Well I settled on a pistol a week ago here in navada..only took 15 minutes to buy and walk out the door with it.
I was looking around at a few pistols and these were my choices
Ruger p95
3rd gen 5906
3rd gen 5904
Well..I settled on the ruger.
I know the 59xx are built like tanks but if somthing happend I wanted a warrenty and aswell wanted somthing with a tac rail also..I love Rugers.....(fell in love growing up with my dads mini 14)
I wanted a 9mm with exposed hammer, decocker, safety, light rail, and full size
$409 later and a box of winchester fmj. I'm out in the boondocks with my buddy and his 15 year old cusin.
After explaining gun safety to his cusin and loading the magazines(came with 2 15rd)
We get out and take aim at a wooden sign that I put a target on...
At 15 yards I take aim and make a 2" group with 10 shots...
I must say this thing kicks verry soft..I love it!
My buddy made a 3" group
And then his cusin.. Pulled the trigger and it Jam....... Fail to feed.
I fixed the prob he tried again... And 1 shot later another fail to feed...
I unload it check it out.. And then I take aim...flawless..
Handed it back to him and watched him shoot
He was shooting limp wristed witch I've come to the conclusion that that was the problem.... It was only happening to him.... After I told him to hold tight and not let the kick go free and to keep the gun steady
It didn't jam once....
After we blew through the rounds I was upset I didn't have anymore rounds....
So what do u do in a situation like this?
U let your buddy barrow your car and give him 60$ to go get a couple hundred rounds of federal 9mm. 20$ a box...
While he left I grabed my 870 tactical from the back and 100 rds. Of 12 gauge..
He came back and we pulled Zombie drills, and target shot for the next hour....
I LOVE THE p95!
