After being missing for 10 years plus and living with my homemade markings I found it. Those decals are glued on and simply don’t exist in nature or the manufacture anymore, I checked.
Mine is still off so here’s a picture of it . Before I put it back on glued I know damn well somebody out there is going to be needing to make up their own as losing these is not uncommon.
Do any of you graphics tech types know a way to set this up and scale it so the next poor slob ( and there will be some guaranteed) can just print his own . Can anybody set a pic to scale so anybody who needs one can print one ? If so I suppose it would be a good stickey for the next guy whose sticker falls off and escapes. I'm always seeing scales on ebay missing the graduation decal. I wonder how hard it would be for someone with a little know how to replicate them? Model builders are making their own water slide decals now, seems like not too much of a leap to make these things.

Interesting project.

If it were placed on a "fine scaled" graph paper to give it a true scale / dimensions and then photographed, it may be pretty easy to replicate.

Mine fell off, but it turned up in the box. The glue definitely degrades over time.

That’s exactly what I was thinking , some way the lost in the world can reproduce exact scale copies . It’s self aligning due to how it locates in its spot. Too bad it overhangs so much as with 1/3 of it flying in the breeze it’s just gotta get knocked loose sometime. The comment on those scales online EBay and what not are spot on. It seems a common failure point as you see them nearly all bare or with crude homemade both ends and middle hash marks like mine. Incidentally, the crack of the box or should I say boxes as I have the original was the first place I looked for this thing. It appears it worked its way through the original box down in and was completely buried in the second box, I had it stored in, I searched that one thoroughly and somehow I missed it 10 years ago. Yesterday I found it laying on the floor today when I was looking for something else staring up at me
Anyways I’m going to leave it unattached for now until one of you mechanical design sorts gives me a specific instruction. Then I’ll pass that on and they can work their magic and put it up as a sticky . I was in Law Enforcement all my life not graphic design so my graphics ability is pretty poor.

I would contact RCBS and send it to them and they should be able to reattach it where it belongs. Call them and tell them the problem and they should be able to remedy the situation, no charge. All should be perfectly aligned and calibrated. Try them, give them a call, they might even have them. They sent me new Pivot points for mine that were worn out, no charge. Good Luck!! Let us know what they said and if they fixed the scale.

Because it's a scale with even looking spacing you might try and measure it with a thread guage. Don't know if sae or metric would fit closer but it's an idea.

If you have the dimensions, my guess would be any sign shop or a shop like that could easily make them for a few dollars. For those inclined if the dimensions where included with the photo, it could just be printed and laminated and attached to whatever material.

Take a picture of it next to a ruler or tape measure. Print off the picture and check the scale. On the next copy change the scale smaller or larger until 1 inch on the ruler in the photo equals 1 inch in real life, then cut out your tenths indicator to glue on the beam with E6000.

I forgot that I was going to go back and do this earlier in the year. Anyways, here it is in millimeters hopefully good enough that you can figure out where it starts and how it spaces. You’ll notice that the placard fits exactly in the indented area on the scale. So, hopefully by making one up this size, you can count off the millimeters accordingly as to where each marking lies. Hopefully this isn’t too confusing, but I have no experience in graphics. Yea the pics suck but if you blow them up they’re better
