I guess I'll keep it

I would certainly keep it and keep use the grips you have on it. I have never liked any of their factory grips. Good shooting too and it tells me your shakes are nearly as advanced as mine. Once upon a time I could do that but no longer even with medication.

The Pachmayr Grippers fit well on a lot of the old Colt revolvers, definitely work so much better. I don't think they look too bad, for "Goodyears." But the old Colt wood grips do look cool.

I was thinking the same thing, even at 10 yards, nice tight group.

That is a fantastic old Colt. I passed up a Colt Officers Model in 22LR with probably the best trigger I have ever pulled on a revolver because I was afraid, I would never find anyone to work on it if something happened to it.
I should have bought it and cherished it like you are cherishing that fine old Colt and enjoy it any way you can. It was truely a work of art.

I don't think your to shaky with a target like that.

I blew it with the one I was looking at, they only wanted $800.00 for it, I'm glad you didn't make the same mistake I did. I'm not getting shaky yet but I am going to have to have a joint replacement in the thumb in my right hand, bone to bone in the joint and two big bone spurs sticking out that are pointing out towards the palm at my furthest back thumb joints.

Long story short, I shoot left handed now completely.

Bit of a journey but I'm getting there. You enjoy that fine old Colt and load light 38SPL if you have too, but shoot on Brother!
