My 760 has been hard to close the bolt recently. I went to take it down. And found the fore grip screw was loose already. I tightened it. And wallah the bolt closes with ease. I like easy fixes.

My 760 had the opposite problem- you had to slam the butt on the ground to open it! Lol
Not a fan of the platform, but glad yours had an easy fix.
My last "easy" fix was a new firing pin for my Western Field .22. Its ALMOST a Mossberg M46- but not quite- and the 46 firing pin didn't fit. Finally bought the 3 closest ones and found a good one through trial and error.
Wound up with 3 extra firing pins in my parts bin. Now I just need to find three more worn-out Mossbergs to fit THEM.....
