So, she goes out yesterday and buys some new flooring for our office.
This i knew about. When she gets home, i head out to the car to unload it and bring the materials inside.

What do i see in addition to the flooring . . .
A hornady LNL AP.

Her comment: I spent alot on the flooring. So here's something for you.

What do you say to that?

I think it only fair that you go right out and buy her a bright red negligee to match that new LNL.

Congrats on both the great spouse and new press.

Had something similar happen on one of our last trips to the CMP North Store. I got the three rifles I wanted, with her blessing. Stopped at a jewerly store in Toledo on the way home and wife received a Diamond ring, Diamond necklace, and Diamond stud earings. Believe me she got the better end of the deal.

If my ex did something like that for me, she probably wouldn't be an ex.

Sounds like you got a keeper my friend. Congrats!

I told her about this thread, and she stated she would rather have the 38 spl she saw in a gun pron book.

brings a tear to my eye

Closest mines came to that was giving $500 towards the auto caster last fall , the only time she has ever asked what something cost was the other night when she was on another forum talking about P38's, she asked what her Spreewerk had cost

Man i cannot believe the time savings on this thing. I loaded about 115 rounds in the amount of time it took me to do 25 on the turret. Not touching every case 4 times makes a world of difference. I'm still taking it slow as i'm still getting used to it. I dont have a powder cop die, but its on the way, so i'm visually inspecting each case after the powder drop and measuring the drop out of every 20th or so round. Then spot checking oal, etc. Even with taking it slow and repeating "seat primer, check powder, place case, place bullet" its still sooooo much faster than the single stages.

Im diggin' it!

What variances should i be looking at from the powder drop?

She says she has a 40ish sister that likes older men.
tell the sis to come around & look me up! LOL

Are you loading for fun or competition? .2 of a grain either up or down is pretty good.
But if you're loading for competition, then drop light & use a powder trickler to get it perfect.

You aint's seen nuttin'

You think that's fast, just wait until she gets her red Hornady negligee. :D

Enjoy the sweet red kool-aid!

Do you have a birthday soon or Christmas need?
The case feeder and plates REALLY make the machine crank out the shells. The investment is worthwhile.

What powder and weight are you tossing?
Are you using the small or large powder rotor?
I refill the powder bin when 1/2 or less full and really think that shaking the powder measure does keeps the
When using the small rotor with 3.8 to 5.8g WSF small flake, I find less than .1 deviation. But not good with American Select flake powder.
Large rotor tosses stick powder very well with +/- .1 or less the norm.

Use plastic or wood rod to know when to add primers. Positive pressure helps keep the primers feeding. Mark rod to know when down to last five or so. Sometimes the last two will tip over.

You know, what goes around - comes around.

You must've been a good hubby to her for her to do something like that!

Maybe she's been thinking, "I love my hubby, what could I do for him?" :D
