TL/DR:
I may get a P365 Macro to replace my G19 because I shoot my smaller P365 better than my Glock. For when I want "more" the Macro would fit that and likely shoot even better than my smaller P365. However, I'm concerned it may be a lot of money for what marginal gains I'd see, and I'm concerned that it may become yet another "theoretical" carry gun that doesn't get carried and gets passed over in favor of the P365 on a day to day basis. Anyone own both? Which gets more carry? Anyone consider the same things I'm thinking about who stayed with the P365 and didn't get the Macro?

I'm not asking if I should trade, I want to steer clear of the "never sell a gun" advice (I may keep my Glock and just replace it in the carry rotation, I may sell it, I'm not decided). This is more about whether I really should buy a P365 Macro or not.
After nearly 25 years of shooting, I finally broke down and bought some Glocks about a year ago (first a Glock 22, I liked it and added the Glock 19, I don't shoot Glocks nearly as well as I shoot my other guns, so I added a .22lr Glock 44 so I can get a lot more practice with the grip angle for a lot less money). Well, compared to my revolvers, SIGs, 1911s and CZs, I do not shoot a Glock well at all (beyond about 7 yards, my groups with a Glock look like my groups with my other guns at about 5 yards further distance... 10 yards with a Glock look like 15 with everything else).
I intended the Glock 19 as a carry gun. In theory, I like compact service pistols as carry guns. They carry more rounds than micro-9s or traditional subcompacts (think Glock 26 or CZ RAMI). They are usually easier to shoot well (longer sight radius, less felt recoil), and due to the full grip and heavier weight they tend to have much quicker follow up shots. Meanwhile, they are still usually light enough (in polymer or aluminum) and small enough for easy carry and concealment.
Well, I shoot my regular micro-9 sized P365 better than I shoot any of my Glocks, even the full sized G22. I am much more accurate with it, and don't have any problems with quick and accurate follow up shots. A smaller and even easier to conceal gun that I shoot better than the G19 and I rarely carry the G19. Heck, with how well I shoot it, I rarely carry my CZ PCR which I do shoot better than the P365 (I'm a little more accurate and a little faster on follow up shots), I shoot the P365 so well, the marginal increases in capability and capacity aren't worth the extra bulk.
I'm considering buying the Macro to replace the G19 in the lineup. I'm thinking that since I shoot the micro-9 sized P365 so well, I'll probably do even better with the Macro. A gun that is slightly taller than the G19, but slightly smaller in all other measurements, and holds 17 rounds would be a great CCW pistol. The plan would be to carry my current P365s (I have two) when I need the smaller gun, but carry the Macro the rest of the time (I currently carry the P365s with a 12 round mag the majority of the time and only occasionally feel I need the smaller footprint of the 10 round mag). The size trade off of the Macro wouldn't be quite as big as the G19 (which still isn't bad), and I'd probably shoot it better than the P365.
That is what got me thinking about it, but I'm not sure. I already shoot the P365 well, almost as well as the larger guns that I shoot well. I am accurate, I get quick follow up shots, and it is still smaller and easier to carry than the larger compact service pistols or the potential P365 Macro. I usually carry it with 12 round mags, and I will be buying some 17 round Macro mags for when I carry spare mags. So, I have two concerns. One, that is a lot of money for what will be marginal gains (I wouldn't hesitate on this if I didn't shoot my P365 so well and the gains would be more pronounced). Second, I can easily see this gun ending up like my G19 and PCR and only getting carried once in a while because I want to and the vast majority of my carry continuing to go with the regular P365.
So, does anyone own both a P365 and the P365 Macro? If so, which gets more carry time? Anyone have the P365 and consider the Macro and decide against it?
