I need a new sling for a Remington 700

Ok, I'm watching "The Best Defence" on the Outdoor Channel and some guy on here is using a bolt gun, but is carring it like he's using a two-point sling. The stock looks looked a baisic rifle stocl similar to a McMillian A-1 style stock. Right now I'm using a sling from The Outdoor Connection, ok, it's great, but is there a sling long enough to be used as a two-point sling. I'm not looking for a sling that you would use at Camp Perry with a NM AR-15, just something to carry my rifle with, not to get all "slinged up".

I don't have the smallest body (5'8", ~210lbs) and not that much fat except for my torso area.

I've been thinking about this for awile, but this just really bugs me.

Any suggestions on the kind of sling I'm wanting?

I have a 1917 leather sling on my Win 70 Compact. It is too long to cinch snug when I am not carrying it. I got mine used from a local shop, I got 2 @$20 each, Want one?

I thought that a 1917 sling was for shooting in a slinged up position? I'd figure that the sling would need to be at least 55"-60" fit like a two-point sling

The sling you're talking about is a safari sling. Cabela's has 'em.
