My Weatherby Vanguard finally came in and I need to dial in pet loads. The only rifle powder I have is IMR4895 (for 6.5 swede through 30-06) and Varget (for .223 Bushmaster Predator.) Ample supply of .308 150 gr M2 pulls, 168gr. SMK, 180gr ProHunter, 190 gr SMK, 165gr GamePro, and
some Nosler 165gr and 170gr polymer tips. Want some factory match ammo to try to duplicate. Leaning towards the 190gr Sierras and some RL-22. I Your thoughts?

If you haven't bought R22, I would look into a different powder.
It does give good velocity, but it is showed random pressure signs when I tried it in several cartridges.

My pet load is either a 165 or 180 grain bullet over a charge of IMR 4831. I have used Norma MRP but abandoned it because of cost. I favor Sierra bullets and CCI primers.

You're gonna want to skip the rl22 and get a hold of h1000. It'll do what you want just fine.
