I just looked over one of those little beasts today and I have to say that I am pretty impressed with it. I was sort of leaning toward a revolver as a pocket gun but I am now thinking that one of these will do quite nicely.
Do any of you guys have any feedback on them?
Also, how does the 380 ACP stack up to a .38 SPL? I think that on paper they are close but how are they in real life?
Thanks.

I purchased a P-3AT and had a little trouble with it. Sent it back to Kel-Tek. When I got it back it was perfect! I like it so much, I purchased a second one. IMO there is not a better deep cover pistol available anywhere near the price or power of the P-3AT.

Got mine about three weeks ago. So far about 150 rounds of ammo with only one hiccup, FTF, at about round #30. I oiled it a little and no problems since. Have a good grip on it when you shoot it, it tries to get away from you.

I have been wearing mine all day and forgot about it until you posted this. I use the Desantis Nemesis pocket holster like Kokapelli's picture shows on the right, tucked behind my belt at 4:00.

As far as, .38 vs .380, the .38 would be the better cartridge.....

Having said that, the P3AT is alot easier to carry in jean pockets.

I have carried my P3AT for the last 2-3months, and it barely ever leaves my pocket...:D

Just a question - have you guys done the "fluff and buff"? After reading a lot of postings on the KelTec board, I almost felt like you had to do that before you could carry and rely on the things.

Thanks,
Steve

P3AT is a nice gun...I sell several holsters for it each week...there were some early production problems but they seem to have been ironed out in later production runs

kel-tec also has the best customer service that I have ever dealt with
