So I am in the final stages of moving and had to make a stop to buy some screws for a table I'm building with my room mate I was down to the last box of odds and ends of my reloading gear and the only thing that was taken was my LEE CLASSIC TURRET ROD :fire::cuss::scrutiny::banghead: so now my classic turret press is now a single stage :banghead: I can't prove it but my roommates new iPhone laptop and his ps4 were untouched and I know I put it in that box it just sucks that this happened thanks for reading

That sucks, but I don't think "car jacked" means what you think it does. You would be missing your entire car and everything in it, for starters.

And I doubt a reloader broke your car window to look in a box just in case you happened to have a Lee Turret rod in there. So if I were you I would keep looking. Was your car even broken into?

I came here expecting shots fired, and you found mixed headstamps with wrong-colored primers. :)

Alright well my turret rod was stolen and yes I know they are only 5 bucks but as of right now all of my funds got tied up in the move :(

Everyone keep your eyes peeled. I know I'll be on the lookout for the Lee Classic Turret index rod bandit. :scrutiny:

I might just put my index rod in the safe for now.

I took my turret rod out within the first few thousand rounds I loaded. I reload in two steps- I size/deprime/prime and feel each case for proper seating depth. Then I just charge the powder and seat the bullet flipping the turret back and forth using my thumb on the press lever. I reload much faster this way over carefully turning the turret with the autoindex rod. plus I feel its easier to pay attention during the more safety oriented steps.

Ahh the infamous LCT index rod Bandit. FBI has been on the look out for him for years. He also likes to take the Hornady LNL brass retaining spring from the shellplate

Rotflmao! I had no ideas those retaining springs were in as much demand as the Lee index rod.

Horseman, you could check the local pawn shops tmrw...?

For my 9mm reloading I liked having it because I load a lot of 9mm it was nice to have :(

If you dont find it at the pawn shop you could email Lee maybe. They'd probably empathize with you since you were carjacked. Might send you out a brand new one.
