Is it just me or does anyone else want a K or T series Kahr in the .45acp? Did they ever make one? Polymer guns have their place, but lately I have seen a lot of guns that I would really like to have..................if they were metal instead of polymer. I would love to have a K4546N!

Anyone else?

Shawn

Yes I am aware that some people do not like, hate, or could care less about Kahr products. This is directed more to those who do.

This has been one of my biggest dissapointments in the gun industry. A couple years ago I decided the Kahr in .45 acp would make the ultimate carry gun but when I found out that it wasn't offered in all steel I had to let go of my dream.
As far as I know, they never made any.

I love my P45 because it is light. Making it out of steel would sacrifice it's greatest advantage, in my mind.

I like steel 1911s and am carrying one as I type this. Each has it's place.

They've never made a steel .45acp. I actually emailed them about 6 months or so ago asking if they'd consider it or if one was in the works.
The reply I got was that they have no plan to make one.

BUT, if you want it, email them to let them know!!!! They only know the customer demand is out there if the potential customers start voicing their opinions.

Good idea. I will definitely make sure I do that.

And who knows, maybe in a few years I can own one. :)

I have a PM45 and have told my wife if they ever do make a steel 45 I will be buying it. Right now I just want them to make a flush fitting 45 mag.

If you email Rohrbaugh they already have a waiting list started, if you seriously want one you might want to get on the list, it'll probably be pretty long before it's released. I will be buying one these, no doubt about it.:D

You are pretty close to Pittsburgh. The NRA show is there the last weekend of April. Go and talk to the people from Kahr Arms. They are very nice people and it works better if you can articulate your point face to face.

I have one of the TP45's and love it. It's flat and lightweight. Recoil is very manageable for such a light gun with +P 45 auto ammo.
