Yes a snub N frame .44 S&W with thin barrel and stainless steel.

Ok, belt holster for concealment.

Must have no thumb break.

Simple design (belt slide is ok but I'd like to cover the barrel) and thin enough to wear under a wind breaker or sleeveless coat.

Who makes a decent one?

thanks,

Another vote for Simply Rugged.

Or if you're an old geezer, maybe something like this.

Tom Dyer of Saguaro Gunleather in Kingman AZ used to make what you are looking for. Problem is he retired and closed his business.

I've carried a 2.5" Colt 1917, a 2.5" S&W 629-5, and a S&W 627-PC in this one pictured below.

I imagine you could find someone to make a similar holster...probably even of the guys on THR that does such work.

Ok. Milt Sparks PMK looks good.

Lobo's "Enhanced Avenger" model also looks good.

Thanks,

I like simply rugged as well, I use one for my everyday carry and it's been great, very durable. Hands down the best holster I've ever owned. They even included IWB loops for my carry holster for free. I plan on ordering at least one more soon.

If you are on more a budget, I picked this holster up off of ebay for about half of what a simply rugged would have cost, and have been very happy with it. It is well made and double stitched. This is an N frame holster but it fits the Astra like a glove. This holster rides high and holds the gun tight against the body and believe it or not, this setup conceals almost as well as the SP101 in the simply rugged. Kind of wish they had left their stamp off of it, but oh well.
