If their were no Class 3 weapon restrictions whatsover, would all of your semi-auto's have a selector switch? Would you have suppressors for many of your firearms? What about your defensive shotgun, would it have a sub 18" barrel?

Doubt I'd convert my Garand to select fire, but most everything else would get it. I already have suppressors on many of the guns I'd want them on and will add them to the rest as $$$ permits.

I'd be more interested in suppressors than full auto. I'd like the ability to tone down the noise a bit. I am actually toying with the idea of getting a .22 with a can for this reason.

While I'd really like to play around with full auto, even if the gun isn't expensive the ammo bill adds up. So unless I was rich I probably wouldn't bother with it. (I don't see any real advantage over a semiauto for any practical purpose that _I'd_ put the gun to.)

I'd convert any weapons that were meant to be full-auto to full-auto. My evil black rifles would get a new position on the selector switch, and I'd want to get one of those gadgets that change Glocks to full-auto too. The cost of suppressors would go down once the impediments to ownership were removed, so I don't see any reason not to get a few of those either.

Suppressors would be fine so not disturb the folks next door, Selector switches with three round bursts are fine, but I need a Gatling gun <G>

I have purchased both already. If it were easier to do, yes I would have a few more select fire weapons and a few more cans. Nothing drastic; I wouldn't feel the need to have everything select fire. But something like my Colt AR15 in 9mm would definitely be select fire. My 5.56 ARs, probably not.

A suppressor for one of my 1911s or Walther PP would be nice.

I'd probably have a select fire 9mm AR with a 14" barrel. I'd have a Tommy Gun and a Krinkov for sure.

I would not have shorter shotgun though. I like the 8 round capacity of my Mossberg

I'd have a couple of select fire Beretta's and a couple of silencers for them. Right now I'm into bolt action battle rifles so those would stay the same of course. I don't have any evil black rifles to convert.:(

I'd have a Thompson, an a M-2 of course. I suppose a real M-16 would be nice too. As for shotguns, I prefer the longer magazine tubes so everything stays 18-20" long.

Probably just submachine guns, unless it cost nothing extra, then yeah, why the heck not? :D

A Benelli 14" would be on the top of the list for the Class III list though.

Nope. I got my fill of full-auto-fun courtesy of the US Army. Especially if I'm paying for ammo, semi-auto is plenty good enough. In fact, I don't think I'm giving up anything by doing so.

Hmmm... unless I could get one of those MG42s. Although an original BAR would be a good choice also.

I would like to have a few items silenced, just because I'm starting to lose hearing in my left ear.

but I need a Gatling gun

If you're talking about a Gatling gun similar to the original one from the 19th century, and not a GE or Dillon minigun, go ahead and get one then. They're normal title I guns. They're not machineguns because you have to keep turning the crank, instead of just holding down a trigger. It would only become a machinegun if you hooked up the crank to a motor. Then the motor's switch would become the defacto trigger, because it would have the capability to cause the gun to expel multiple bullets each time the motor moved the crank.

Probably several "cheap to feed" ones would be selective fire. Those and others would have sound supressors. Certainly there would be a couple of short shotguns. Hey, there might even be a short barreled shotgun with a supressor and a selector switch:D .

I'd have: M-79
Skorpion (in .32 ACCP)
BAR-D
Bizon II in 7.62x25mm
M2 Carbine

Don't really feel the need for all my weapons to have auto capability (useless on my G1, for instance), but most of weapons would have cans or integral sound suppressors. More civilized...

I would leave my guns alone and buy new ones with selector switches
built into the design.

The American 180 would be my first choice.

177 round drum of 22LR empties in about 9 seconds.

I probably have one subgun, just for grins. Almost certainly something in 9x19 for economy's sake. The Russian "Bizon" has some interesting features, and would be relatively inexpensive.

I'd LOVE to try one of the amazing AN-94s some time. From what I've read, it may well be the most advanced assault rifle design yet made. Thank God the Russkies don't have the financial assets to produce and issue it en masse....yet.

A .22 rifle with an integral suppressor would be sweet for hunting small game around where I live. Lots of the small woodlots where I used to get my best squirrel hunting aren't available anymore because of complaints from residents in the small subdivisions that've been popping up like mushrooms in our county. The landowners get hassled with threats of nuisance suits, and the Sheriff's deputies get tired of dealing with bogus "shots fired" runs from hysterical soccer Moms.

mm, 7.62x25mm economical, too, and penetrates better. :)

An-94: YES. Very cool. Just need to change the sights.

I think a glock 18 or any other machine pistol would be fun to have. It would serve no purpose but to eat lots of ammo and then burp it out. Put in one of those link fed devices in there (I've seen it done on a 1911 so it wouldn't be that hard to do for a glock) and you're ready to rock and roll.

Class 3 guns?
A Thompson of course. Just like the gansters had!
An AK with a three shot burst instead of full auto
M-3 Grease gun
A Browning 50 cal mounted in the back of a jeep for varmint hunting. Really do a number on them pesky jack-rabbits.
A semi-suppressed 22-K-Hornet for stealthy varmint control.

ZM

My Glock becomes Select-Fire
My AR-15 becomes an M-16
My M1 Carbine becomes an M2 Carbine
Cans all around
I'd look at a F/A .22. Maybe a converted 10/22, or a .22 belt-fed M16 upper.
(2-10 each of the following)
BAR
Ak-47
M2
M1917
M1919A4/A6
MAG-58
Bren LMG
Colt Monitor
H&K G3
FN FAL
MG34
MG42
At least a dozen M-16s in different calibers/configurations

Every single gun I own would be full-auto (if applicable). I want the option of leaving my selector on Semi.

I've really got a desire for F/A weapons, mostly due to the "forbidden fruit" aspect. If I could Form 1 my AR like I could pre-May 19, 1986, there'd be less magic. But because some bureaucrat in Washington decided FOR me that I cannot have CHEAP machine guns, well, I want a complete stable of machine guns. Just to piss the liberal pantywaists off. Even if I never flip the selector to auto, just the fact that I have them is enough for me.

My list is by far not complete or comprehensive. With rare exception, (the French Chauchat comes to mind), I want at least 5 of every machine gun ever made.

Wife = most expensive "date" you'll ever have in your life.

4X4 = Goes anwhere except past a gas station.

Boat = a hole in the water you pour money into.

Night in jail = most expesive "motel" bill you'll ever have.

That little skinny wimpy guy you flipped off = A crazed Tasmanian Devil that comes at you from all directions.

"Hey, watch this!" = a trip to the ER.

"Betcha can't _____(fill in the blank) = ditto the above.

Rot gut = rotted gut

Full auto = empty bank acount.

Lessons learned from life *sigh*
