Funny as all heck, although I have to call shenanigans on the anti-tank shot and resulting explosion. Especially from underneith, such a shot would have re-vectored the trajectory to the right of the screen, but the target continues on its origional vector.

Please do not take this comment as a sign I didn't enjoy it, quite the contrary, I've sent the link along to several friends!

Thanks for the laugh!!!

I can't come up with any words to describe that but i know that I want to try it.

Clarkson is hilarious. One one episode of Top Gear he used an MP5 for the shooting portion of an Olympic Biathlon!

I think they had a thread on this already, and it's pretty well decided it's a fraud. It's cool, but fake. The 'bullet holes' look like something from an ignorant imagination.

And if he really made that shot with the Charlie G, first time ever holding one, then he's a god!

it's funny, as stated pegs the BS meter, but funny.

but dern man i thought maybe this thread was gonna be about someone having decided to bring back the "Shoot skeet from the back of a moving flatbed ford" portion of USAAF aerial gunner training as a recreational activity.

Bullet holes in metal can be bigger than the caliber would indicate. Shot a few old computer cases, and you could stick a few fingers through 'em.
I don't think a car that's hit with a machine gun is liable to blow up, myself.

I always wanted to put a trap range right next to a golf driving range. Blast those pesky white balls out of the air. Now that's a hazard.

Clarkson is great, as is Top Gear. Suprisingly for such a prominant and vocal British celebrity, he's very pro-gun. He did a show called Firearms (I think) which was basically an excuse for him to have a go at every gun he's ever wanted to shoot. A couple of bits were fake though. In one section he's just finished praising the reliability of the AK (he opens it up and says "Just look at the SPACE inside!" :p) and he says "But there's a problem...let's see how accurate it is by shooting at, well, they wouldn't let me shoot the side of a barn, so the side of a Ford Transit Van should do". He crouches and emptires a magazine at the van then goes to check the target. Not a single mark lol. But it wasn't on a range of any kind so I'm 99.9% sure he was just firing blanks, as he did in the biathlon bit on Top Gear.
