If you had 30 handguns to sell...

another thing to consider would be to part out a gun if its not pristine condition. I have bought a couple of firearms that needed a component or 2 and have been extremely surprised at the prices individual components can fetch on ebay.
I know this would take even more time then selling whole guns but as long as you aren't selling the components that are considered the firearm you can send everything using regular mail without worries. Obviously this would not be the best answer for most of your items but might be your best option in some cases if looking to get top dollar for a gun with some defects.

I'd wait to see how the Nov. Elections go...if they go heavily Dem,
prices are going to Skyrocket for guns...THAT will be sell time,
just before they smack us with nasty anti-gun legislation...

You used ARMSLIST as an option, I have recently sold about 8 -10 rifles and shotguns. Not all went to ARMSLIST but good amount did with no haggling over prices. Plus state right up front no shipping and you'd be surprised how many will be willing to drive a fair distance to buy. Of all the firearms I have sold I have not lost money and on a couple actually made money over the initial purchase price.

Just make sure they are not crossing state lines on their "drive"; unless you like making little rocks out of big rocks and look good in orange.

OK - I put together a very basic (and ugly) website to show off the items I am going to be selling. I pooped out before I could do the 1903 Colts. But I will be updating and finishing as I can. If looking at these items changes anyone's recommendations about the best way to sell; let me know.

I haven't decided how I'm going to do it yet. If nothing else, look at it as an object lesson in seeing how someone can let things get "out of hand" without really realizing it!!
