If you want .22's

Saturday afternoon I was at a local Walmart and saw CCI Mini-Mags $7.77 per 100.
They had 17 packs on the shelf. That is the best .22 price I've seen in a long while.
I didn't need any, still have over 11,000 rounds of Mini-Mag and Blazer.

It's been a LONG time since I've walked into a Cabelas that they didn't have 22 ammo...

A few days ago, along with a bunch of other 22's, they had a PILE of Federal 325 packs, $21.99 ea... I didn't see sign that had a limit either...

I saw 22 magnums at Walmart, I just didn't feel like paying the price they had on them...15 something a box.

I can remember 22LR ammo being $69/5000 at gun shows. promo stuff like thunderbolt but more or less shootable.

I used to get aguila SV shipped to my house by the case. I think it was $169 incl shipping.

the PX here had the Federal 325 ct boxes a few weeks ago for $18, but they didn't last too long. Today must be my lucky day though, I just walked out of Walmart with three 1400 ct buckets for $73.64 each.

I hope the market takes a dump. While I am happy to see 22LR on the shelf, paying double what it was pre-Sandy Hook is hard to swallow.

I happened to be at the W store getting a FOR SALE sign for a vehicle and walked past sporting goods. CCI MiniMags $7.47/100 limit 3
That's twice in three weeks at W.
Was at Cabelas yesterday Win, CCI, Rem, Augula, SK and others on the shelves.

My WM has had the Auto Match more frequently recently. $17.97 for the 325 round box. I've restrained myself to 12 boxes so far and keep telling myself that'll do for that particular ammo. We'll see what happens next time I catch them with some.... :)

If I see them at Walmart I can't control myself. I buy them.

The Dick's in South Bend IN has a bunch of Fed Auo Match, at $25.99. Dude asked if I wanted some. Said I was waiting for a sale. Others guys were getting it for $17.99.

He said to bring in the price from any brick and mortar store anywhere in the US and they would price match...:D

Stopped by Bass Pro again yesterday with my daughter. Saw scads of Winchester 100-ct sleeves and some also from Remington (GBs, I think.) The W-stuff was priced at 9.49. I think there was also some CCI Standards as well.

I actually passed 'em by. If there had been some AutoMatch or any other "bricks", I might have picked one up, but I do have over 11K rounds of various .22LR on hand.

Are you sure that's enough?

I'm not being facetious. When I go up to the farm with some friends and we start target shooting, we can go through 800 or 1,000 rounds in a weekend (it's only 200 rounds per person). If we got together to shoot each weekend (which we don't; once a quarter if we're lucky) we could burn through that 11,000 rounds by Christmas.

My LGS got 160k of MiniMag HPs in last month. They'd benn $16.99/100 until then, and dropped to $9.09/100. Hadn't seen them locally since Sandy Hook, so I snagged 2k. Got home and the wife sent me back for more - 10k more!

Stopped by an academy in the sticks last weekend. Not a huge stock, but 22 was on the shelf with no limit.
