If you're reloading today...

Ha ha. Only problem is that the 25.8 gr load also produced a 1.32" group the same day. :banghead:

Overall, the 26.2 seems the most consistent, but it didn't get me the prettiest group so far. Hopefully this time spent on brass prep will make the picture clearer.

Oh the dreaded "perfect" group.

That sucks. :)

You think you're on to the holy grail and find out it's just a wooden cup. :)

100 .38 Specials down, 9mm coming up next! Still chasing a sweet load for my wife to shoot in her LCR so those take a while. I have my pet 9mm load ready to go on my trusty SS press. It doesn't take me long to get them finished now that I have them all sized, primed and flared.

She wants to shoot Tuesday night so I'd better get back at it!

Well, a little over halfway done. Family matters keep interfering.

Had to load SOME of them in to the belt.. ;)

And what's left...

The upside down ones in the box are "accidents"... trimmed .020" under trim-to length. Wasn't paying attention; I'd swapped my cutter head last night after I finished, back to my 30 cal, planning on trimming some 308 today. As it turns out I found 33 more 1x 8mm for this batch and decided to "catch them up".

Something didn't feel quite right as the spirals of metal kept going.. and going.. and going... The cutter head I have for 30 cal is .20 longer than the one I use for 8mm. I didn't stop and think "something's wrong!" until I'd done a few. :(

The two with the sharpied noses in the belt are also "whoopses" - was testing different seating depths vs. feed reliability in my M76 (no difference) so the first two rounds I loaded short (wait a minute, these don't look right...)... won't hurt, since I'm not bumping against max, but I figured I'd mark them and use them as sighters.

What molds are you using for these!?!!!

I just got real interested in what you are up to. :)

I use this bullet in just about every 30 cal load I have. 7.62x39, 7.62x56R, 308 win, 30-30 in a bolt gun, 300 Black out.
It shoot great in all of them.

Just sized belled all of my .32-20 brass, they are in the tumbler.....My friend called earlier today and he finished some .204's and is heading to the range to work up loads.....the good news is, he bought an 8 pounder of WW 748 and doesn't like it, so it will soon be mine....

Nice to know others are out there having fun. I'm on call but got to go home and determine OAL for my 7mm Rem mag using 120gr V Max before I got called back.

Cool! I'm going to shop around to find a 30 cal cast I could use to load subsonic, in the 200-220 gr weight range. I've got a CMMG subsonic only upper (short gas system).

Went to the range and made 100 empty .223 and 20 .308 so I'm doing case prep this evening. Would have also made 100 empty 45ACP but at 23F and a little breezy my hands didn't want to keep going. Oh well, warmer weather is coming!

Grandkid brought over 200 9 MM--100 were loaded cases I gave him
I loaded 50 today---I don't rush anymore--retired 14 years
I have over 2000 9's reloaded so I get to them whem I feel like it
Have fun--I do
If you reload you should have lots of ammo

Today it was 100 38 Sp, yesterday it was 150 9mm and the day before that 100 45 ACP and 50 45 Colt
arent too many days that I dont see some time at the loading bench, I love to shoot and then I love to load, so its the best of both worlds.
Yes I have wondered how many other guys are sitting there having fun and getting resdy for the next day out on the range.

Working up a few .380 loads to see which work well in my pistol. Tomorrow will be working up some brass for 5.56.

Yup, got all my trimming and 38s done yesterday, Will be working on some 45acp, and 300wbm today.
