you need to warn somebody before they actually listen to this 'for the babies' crap. :fire: :cuss: :banghead:

oh dear god, now I need therapy.

Fire mission!!

Fire off those emails, letters, and calls!!

Emails, and letters sent off today, Calls start tomorrow!! On top of my normal weekly calls.

IL is gone, jump ship while you can!

Whats that old saying about rats, and a sinking ship. Naa cant do that.

My Grandpaps would come back from his grave just to beat my ass, if I tucked tail and ran like a coward.

Gotta fight, no two ways about it!

Luckily residents of ohio didn't do that over the last years when they've been troubled.

Well we got lucky. We've always been a right-leaning state, but as of last December we are now on par with KY and other southern states on gun laws.

The politician in the link Soybomb posted is from Ohio. I guess they just send them here when they dont want them

Maybe that is our problem, they send their politicians to us but nobody will take Illinois politicians except a prison and there ain't enough room in the prison for all of them. :fire:

I am tired of people telling us to leave. I want to leave but for different reasons. I want to leave because I want to go somewhere with better weather and more of a job market. As well as I want to get out of here since I been in Illinois for 25 years. Its just time to move on.

But I ask why so many people are so ready to leave? What happens if the national AWB that is being proposed passes? What then? Where are you going to go?

I didn't want to leave Illinois, it was very hard to do so but I finally made the move to Florida. I left behind 17 years of memories, friends, a girlfriend, and my overall life. Of course this had nothing to do with guns, I had to move at the time because I didn't really have a choice. I am now glad I did make the move though as it did benefit me in the long run.

I won't run...

From Illinois because of the politicians just like I won't run from my neighborhood because of the criminals/thugs that pass through it from time to time. If they do pass this law, I think most people of the state will just ignore it. All we really need is a viable candidate to run for govener from down state. It's only a matter of time that the minions from the Chicago ares realize that Blago is not getting the reach around from Daley that he so deserves.

I never realized just how much of a criminal I was living in Illinois. I never had an FOID card, yet owned a shotgun, rifle, and a handgun. I never realized how bad Illinois was until I moved to TX in 97. Until chicago gets to experience something like a lubys or VT, not much is going to change for IL and I'm not sure that would even do it, considering the sheer number of sheep in cook cty.

Illinois isn't bad, just some of the liberal urban politicians.
I listened to it and some of the commentary offends me.
I live here. I own a business and a farm. I have responsibility for my widowed mother. I have children, grandchildren, and alot of friends here.
I'm not leaving.
If good folks choose to leave, then we'll fight without them.
