Somebody early on listed a Makarov in his list of guns to buy first. I don't think the Makarov's qualify, since they are not over 50 years old yet.

If I'm wrong, please let me know so I can add them to my list!

Some Makarovs are specifically listed. Russian Military and East German come to mind. Looks like your list just grew!

I just received my C&R licence on saturday... not too bad, since I only mailed the app out on the 11th.....
A quick question though, I only received the licence, is there an info packet that is supposed to come with it?

C&R Licensing

Good afternoon,

I just received my C&R about three days ago and it was quite the package. The license itself came with several phone book sized books detailing various federal and state gun laws, a list of C&R eligible firearms, as well as additional forms regarding purchase, disposition, etc.

As for Makarovs, I already owned one and it is a great little gun. Very reliable, easy to shoot, and cheap ammo. It is on the list, depending on country of origin.

Have fun. I think I will start picking up a Mosin or two.
