I'm giving away my Ruger LC9 with .22 Adapter kit,,,
It's going to a young lady who recently graduated high school and is now attending university.
I've known this girl since she was 3 days old,,,
I carried her around the building I work in to show her off.
I told everyone I bought her from the Gypsies.
I was originally going to give her a matching pair of revolvers,,,
One in .38 Special and the other in .22 LR,,,
3" S&W Model 36 and 4" Model 34,,,
Both round butt and nickle plated.
I was talking about this to her father,,,
Just to make sure that it was still okay with him.
He told me that she was just at her grandfathers farm,,,
He let her shoot his 2" S&W model 36,,,
She didn't like the gun at all.
Bummer!
She did like shooting his small-ish 9mm semi-automatic pistol,,,
My friend thinks it might have been a Ruger like mine.
Anyways, I have a first version LC9 in Lady Lilac color,,,
I bought this pistol on a whim and liked it a lot.
Then I bought the Twisted Industries .22 LR kit,,,
That dang kit runs bulk HV ammo perfectly.
The Pachmayer grip sleeve tamed the 9mm recoil very nicely.
It's not that I don't like this pistol,,,
I like it very much but I have too many guns,,,
This gives me a chance to thin the herd and do a good thing.
I've put together a "kit" for her to keep at her grandfather's farm until she's 21,,,
He's an avid hunter and shooter so she'll get decent training there.
The kit will include:
That pair of guns had some family history I wanted to pass to her.
I can't imagine she won't be pleased with this outfit,,,
But if she isn't I'll take it back and we'll search my gun cabinet for something else.
