...got to shoot a Garand at the range Sunday. I had already wanted one, but now I really want one.

Just what I need, something else to spend money on.

But I guess it was a pretty god tradeoff. I ran a clip through the Garand, and in exchange I let the owner and his two sons shoot 20 rounds each through my AR, which none of them had ever shot before. Truth be told, I enjoyed watching the kids shoot the AR as much as I enjoyed shooting the Garand.

Yep, you're in deep kimpchee now. ;)

The ONLY treatment is the CMP. Unfortunately there isn't a cure, but the CMP can provide some therapy. You'll need to get a service grade and plenty of ammo.

Sorry about your new condition (Garandism), but there's a good support group here.

Hi, I'm Nugilum, and I'm a Garand addict. :)

Well, I'm hoping to move to the Atlanta area in the near future, which means I'll be within easy driving distance of the CMP South store. I'm not quite sure whether or not that'll be a good thing yet... but the good news is that if I move down there, it'll be for work, which will mean an increase in disposable income...

:D

I'm a Garand addict. I've got two and sadly I don't have the money to fund anymore at this point in time, or else I'd have atleast two more.

Once you PING, you're in serious trouble. :D

I feel your pain. I used to have the jones but bad, and the Garand had actually trickled up to the top three next gun purchases, but it since has trickled back down before I got one, since I am more and more a fan of utility in a gun vs. other reasons to buy, and the rifle's weight and ammo choice limitations made it less desirable to me. So that's one more for yous guys to have; good luck in getting one!
