I'm such a liar. Several months ago I stated unequivocally that I would never buy another semi-auto pistol again. I opined how I carry black plastic for a living and once I retire I will own nothing but blue steel revolvers. I haven't retired yet but my way of thinking has changed somewhat. Two weeks ago I built an AR pistol. Then I bought one this past Monday. Well, yesterday I traded Monday's purchase for a gently used Gen 3 Glock 35 with a Wolf 357 Sig barrel plus the standard 40 barrel, four magazines and 300 rounds of Sig ammo AND a brand new Springfield Armory XD-9 Mod 2 compact with its kit. This morning I told my agency's firearms instructor that I needed practice ammo for 9mm, 40 S&W and 357 Sig. His face developed a twitch that I have never noticed before.
Sunday my son and I are going to our place for a day of shooting. This is fortunate because next week my agency has firearms qualifications and I will get to add these two pistols (three calibers) to the guns I'm already qualified on. Weird how things work out.
Anyway, I'm one of you again.
