Improving Sig 226 trigger pull?

I have had my Sig 226 since 1991 and it has been a great gun. However, i hate how it resets. When doing double taps, sometimes i cant get the 2nd one off because i have not release the trigger all the way out for it to reset. When compared to my other hand guns the slack is much more.

Is there any way to take out the slack or improve the reset of the trigger?
