I am beating a dead horse here, but in the same vein as my earlier post and cordex's post: There is a lot of junk in the AR15 marketplace. If you buy something from someone you don't know whether it be on-line, at a gun show, whatever, you usually are stuck; you have to recourse. You might walk out of the show proudly telling everyone how you saved $5 over buying it from a well known, reputable dealer only to find out you were had.
That is why I buy from Bushmaster for my basic parts and MSTN for the bling bling. I KNOW I am getting good stuff and if by some chance I get something bad, I know they are going to make it right.
I read over and over and over posts where everything is about money. "This is the cheapest way to do it" ......................... Everything isn't about money, especially when the amount of money you are talking about is just a few dollars. You want to have a good quality gun that works. In order to get that, you have to buy good quality parts; not cheap parts. There are many more companies out there that sell good stuff. If you don't want to go to Bushmaster or MSTN, research before you buy. Don't buy based purely on price, buy based on reputation.
