So today I just grabbed one of my HW30s and just went offhand at about 50'. Shooting is nothing to look at, no groups, not really trying for them. I don't even know how many "rounds" I shot this evening but what it did accomplish, besides putting some incredibly poor skills on display was.....scratch that itch. :D Sometimes you just want to pull the trigger on a nice rifle a few times.

Anyway here is one of my HW30s. If you are not aware the Beeman R7/HW30 is a magnificent low powered spring gun with a sublime trigger. Very enjoyable gun to shoot.......even poorly. :(

Take care, shoot safe and don't shoot your eye out.

I can sure understand the need to scratch that itch. My HW30S is a sweet shooter as well. The nice thing about a lower powered springer is you don't have near as much hold sensitivity to deal with.

Super nice rilfe CSlinger.
The HW 30. And what a great reputation it does have. Many shooters that have a lot of more powerful top end gun are notorious for pulling down the Beeman R7 (HW) than I would say than any other.

Nothing like a HW 30s my favorite is an an old leather seal sweetie, no safety that has no vibration like these new hot rods, just pull the trigger and listen to the thump at the POI. smooth as butter. it has the rounded pistol grip butt a la Browning A5 of yor. it's the rifle to take on a leisurely walk in the woods.

My R7 is my favorite air rifle. It's just a lot of fun to shoot. Light enough to shoot offhand for hours, cocking effort is negligible and the trigger is awesome. I put peep sights on mine.

Stock is a special run from Weihrauch. I love the laminates. I have a Blue Laminate 97k and a brown and green laminate 77k as well. All fantastic rifles.

Here is my Vintage HW. And yes one of the sweetest shooters and most fun air rifles I have. Presented to my as a gift from a Master Tuner.

Also have a R7 Santa Rosa tuned by the same.

Beautiful stock on that one

The Tuner that gave me that gun said he worked hard on the stock to bring it back to life. The guy not only is a notorious Air gun Tuner, but does incredible nice looking stocks. I use to have a picture of his collection of Air Rifles and some of his stocks, and will try and fine it.
