I've been at Purdue for 4.5 years now, will be for 2.5 - 4.5 more depending on whether I stay for a MS or PhD. I'd encourage all the other Boilers to come to the Purdue Rifle/Pistol Club Mondays at 7pm in the Armory. There's several current and ex-members on THR, but I'm seeing a couple people saying their from Purdue that I don't know from club.

Northeast Indiana here. Good to see there's that many of us on THR. By following the for sale threads, I would have thought just about everyone was from Texas or Florida.

Another Hoosier/Boilermaker here. Hailing from the knobby southern hills.

i did go to the purdue gun club twice, once we didnt get to shoot(the first meeting, with intros) then went another time and shot a little. i need to go back, maybe during the day so it's a little brighter in there.

i hope daniel flory isnt one of those florys from delphi. they're nothing but trouble.

97 of us! Getting closer to the triple gidgy's.:)

I'm glad to see some of the lurkers coming out of their shell to help join in the Hoosier alliance.:p

Any of you guys/gals shop at Whittaker's Guns?(the gun mecca of the tri-state) I buy everything but my milsurps there...Darryl's prices are second to none around here.

Yo, yo, yo, tell 'em what time it is, Dan. It's about 10 o'clock on the 765 clock.

And its been dark outside for only about the last 5.5 hours!

Fort Wayne. I have IN listed in my profile, but I didn't make the list.

hoosier heads up:

just went to downham's gun store in logansport. Not to be confused with Dunams. you can get yourself a ruger redhawk .44 for only $420, or a blackhawk .357 for $300. I'm suddenly wondering why i didnt get the blackhawk.

which makes me wonder if there are any downham's on this board.

edit for joe: downham's is a local, family owned firearms store. The owners are all about getting new shooters. They just went out of their way to set up a friend of mine with a reloading set, and took him shooting to test his rounds.
