Looking for someone with a progressive reloader to show me the ropes. I'll watch listen and keep my mouth shut for good inexpensive instruction and hands on supervised learning. I will even wipe the brass from the shaker or such.
Preferably a weekend when it's snowing or otherwise limiting for outdoor time. Willing for weeknights also if that is prefered.
Anyone willing?

If you don't find someone,I may have a tape

from when I bought my dillon. If i have it you would be welcome to it.it's for the 550b and is about 8 years old but don't think they've changed all that much.
Dillon may sell the tapes seperate also.

I live about 2 1/2-3 hours N of Indy. If you don't get any other offers and you want to come this far, PM me. I've got a reloading room on my garage and a Dillon 550. I load for 223, 25-250, 25-06, 357 Herrett, 7mm Rem, 300WM, 10mm, 44 mag, 44-40, 45LC, 45 acp, 45-70 and 45-90

There's got to be someone in the Indy area.

Might pm El Tejon..he's in Lafayette., Also, you might be able to do a search by area...haven't tried that.

Before you do a lot of other running, you may want to just get a simple press, read some books and go at it following the directions in the books. It seems complicated at first, but if you go slow AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS it's really not hard. I have the Dillon tape. It's informative and very helpful, particularly if you haven't reloaded before.

If you're just loading for the 45.70, I'd get a single stage. If you're a pistol shooter, might as well get the progressive.

If you think about it, you're taking a brass case, and putting in a primer, powder, and stuffing a bullet on top

How does one become an NRA reloading instructor? I emailed them but got no response.

I'm probably 2 1/2 hours away too, but you're welcome to come over anytime you want. Hopefully someone closer will chime in.

Regards,
Dave

Check you email. I am just north of Lebanon. Cold snowy days spend a lot of time at the presses.

Thank you for the responces

I agree someone closer to Indpls would be best. Maybe going to work out a day to work with RJW. Know a lot of good folks that way.
