You have a Chinese copy of a pistol originally made by the German, Walther Company as their "Olympia" model. Although is was made in various versions it was best known as an Olympic Match Pistol. Production started in 1932. While the German gun was of excellent quality, the Chinese copy is less so. It should make a good target pistol though. The purpose of the weights is to reduce recoil during Rapid Fire matches. Among others. Navy Arms Co. imported them.

thx. for your information . do you have a ruff guess what it is worth . I put $175 in it .

Blue Book of Gun Values lists the TT-Olympia as imported by Navy Arms 1992-1998. Which has to be a misprint as all imports of firearms from China were banned in 1994.
Patterned after the Walther Olympia pistol that won the 1936 Olympics,Blue finish,4-5/8" barrel, checkered walnut grips,27 oz.
100%=$255
98%=$225
95%=$195
90%=$175
80%=$160
70%=$150
60%=$140
Having shot a friends TT-Olympia pistol in the mid 1990's it jammed a few times on the first box of ammo. But after a real good cleaning it worked 100%. The only target shooting we did was coke cans at 25 yards but it preformed as good on them as my Ruger Mark II pistol.

Nifty lil' pistol

I've fired ONLY one example. A friend bought one when they were first introduced. Within the first 500 rounds, it began demonstrating certain "issues," meaning multiple discharges. It got to where it would let off three to six rounds per trigger press, more often than not. It was kinda fun, but was totally unpredictable. Legal considerations aside, it was a rather impractical thing. My pal turned it over to his gunsmith for correction, and I believe the 'smith ended up owning it.

I do NOT claim that the above situation is a common problem with this model pistol. If I acquired one, though, I'd take certain precautions in test firing it. :D

Best,
Johnny

I have had good luck with mine. I have only shot a couple bricks since I bought it new for $129, but no malfunctions come to mind with various high and standard velocity loads used. I thought it was a good value for the money then and nothing has changed that opinion. Some well-done walnut or exotic grips would dress it up considerably.

Finish is a step or two above many of the Chinese imports, but the checkering is a bit crude and there is little chance of mistaking it for the Walther. I think you will be happy to have it, nonetheless.
