Anyone know anything about Innovative Arms? They make suppressors and the guy claims he has some contracts with LE. I went by his shop and he is a one man show. Seems like he has some pretty decent equipment, but I really had no idea what I was looking at. He demonstrated a couple of his suppressors. Anyone dealt with him?

Innovative Arms is a good company. Although small, they are not a one man shop. I have been doing business with them since they were a one man shop in early 2007. They have been growing steadily since then. Their product line has grown also. They do not settle on the current design of their products. Every time I stop by to see them, they have something new or have improved on one of their old designs. Their suppressors will stand with the best and surpass the vast majority of other manufacturers in terms of quality and performance. AND, get this, they stand behind their work.

I have shot my Innovative Arms suppressors next to some of the other big name manufacturers and mine have clearly performed better.

I am aware of 5 local law enforcement agencies that have their suppressors. They modify and maintain all of the weapons for a nearby nuclear facility. They have their suppressors in stores from Arizona to Florida and who knows where else.

I am sorry you had a less than pleasant experience when you stopped by their shop. Give them another chance, you won't be dissappointed.

Phil and his wife are good people. Before he started Innovative Arms, he worked as a Machinest for a big corporation with one of my Co-workers. When there was something they couldnt figure out, the went to Phil.
He dosnt have a big fancy shop, but he does alot with a little. He makes a dang good product that is indeed innovative. This is litteraly one of those "mom and pop" outfits that we are always talking about supporting!!

I had pretty much planned to give him my business, but wanted to make sure there were no legitimate horror stories out there.

Seemed like a nice enough guy. Hopefully I can do a little business with him this spring.

Phil's a good man, and his wife does all the Gun Kote work. And she's very good at it too!
I own one of his .22 cans when he went under a different company name. Firearms Solutions, I think it is. Couple years back he let me shoot one of his 9mm cans on a Taurus and it was scary quiet. He really has some great designs and knows his stuff.
I promised him as soon as I'm done restoring my car I would be back to get a rifle suppressor for my larger calibers.
A friend of mine has a couple of his cans too.
Oh, and he did the SBR conversion and Form 4 on my RRA AR-15. And before he spent his full time on silencers, I had him do the sights on my Lightweight OACP and he milled the grooves into the plane Jane flat top.
