Inside the A-Zoom

AZoom makes a lot of snap caps in more calibers than anyone else I've seen, which is handy if you need a 5,45x39 or 6.5 Grendel snap cap. But my 9mm & .45 A Zooms all look chewed up on the shoulder of the case. Rough. Like the dog got a hold of em.
A few years ago I trashed em for Steelworx in my common calibers, so far they still look good. The Steelworx .22lr are the only all metal rimfire 'dummy rounds' so if they feed & eject, I know live rounds will also.
I'll also add that I don't use snap caps for practice, I use em to verify feed, chambering & ejection without using live ammo.
