Interarms PPK/S...when was it manufactured?

I just bought a Stainless Interams PPK from a friend of mine. NIB with all paperwork, never fired except at the factory. Serial number A0021XX and date on the target of 2/21 unknown year.

I'm looking for some good grips for it since I have big paws. I haven't seen anything rubber for it. Lots of stuff for the PPK/S but nothing for the PPK. Any recommendations?

when they went to the investment casting,from blank steel.the guns made
in gadsden, were hard to mechine,hard to heattreat, more frames crushed
than finished.the rest is old news. if your gun is from a casting and it works
fine,then you have a fine little gun. it will last for ever.

test target dated 07-21-1994; as fired by DM~!
