Interesting video from CRKT and James Williams

I stumbled across this video on simple personal defense tools and use and was surprised to see that it was put out by CRKT knives.

 
That's a pretty decent video

Every one should know the potential of a simple car like - could fend off a lot with just that.

My biggest fear with my daughter was always some type of abduction or assult.

Even if taken by surprise from behind, you'd be able to stab the key down into the leg and pelvis area or up and back into the attackers face and neck.


Don't ever stop fighting back!!!!!!
 
I have watched many of James Williams videos. He is a very cerebral guy and allot of his stuff is purpose driven. After watching his videos I got a Hissatsu folder. He does design and promote for CRKT but I have always seen value in there products anyway. For a long time he has been saying, carry a good flash light, a good knife and a good pen, all products from CRKT. His sword demos are amazing. He does show basic stuff for people who want to choose to defend themselves and I think that he has referred to the good flash light as the best all around, take anywhere tool.
 
A very good video with some good pointers. While I knew of James Williams from his various projects in traditional Japanese martial arts (especially iaido, which was shown off on Time Warp) I had no idea he did any work for CRKT until recently, despite the fact that I own a non-assisted Hissatsu. That's really cool. He's a far more interesting fellow than I realized.
