do not initiate eye contact until confontation is immanent. Eye contact in the mammilian animal world is considered a challenge

Nothing annoys my more, in the world of walking down the street that is, than somebody that will not look me in the eye. I look everybody in the eye when talking and when passing. There’s more that could be said, but I don't want to step on any toes so I’ll just suggest that one should think carefully about not initiating eye contact. There is far more to a situation than simple eye contact.

Now Ahenry; would you look a scroungy character in eye if you could avoid him? I think only a LEO packing with authority could afford such tactics! Trust me us civilians AVOID eye contact with GOOD REASON!
