I always dropped powder straight into cases from the powder measure using my home made "powder funnels/powder drop bushings", but when I started weighing charges on the FX-120i for PRS I needed a funnel that worked better than the old plastic RCBS funnel I had, and I ended up with more than I needed.
Besides the Area 419, Saturn, and Hardcore Gear funnels, I also had the Lyman powder funnel kit that is similar to the Hornady kit. It as pretty good, could have fit the necks better, but very serviceable. I gave it to my younger son. I like the Saturn funnels very much, except for the ridges which can catch kernels. It is light, doesn't tip/fall over, heavy brass adapter on the bottom which helps that, and fits necks great.
I'd love to check out the Hornady kit.
The Area 419 funnel is too thick/heavy, the inserts could fit a little bit better, but are pretty good, and it works just fine. The Hardcore Gear funnel could fit the necks a hair better, but it funnels powder very fast, doesn't tilt or want to fall over/off, and never holds any kernels. It's what I ended up using for 6 Dasher.
