Is it possible to have a fixed choke shotgun threaded to accept choke tubes?

If the barrels are thick enough, yes. I expect yours will be. Briley is sort of the premier go to guys for this but others do as well. Colonial comes to mind. And, I agree with your premise, my HD is wearing modified.

FYI Remington makes their 18" LE barrels in Cylinder, but their 14.5" is available in MOD.

Check and see if the manufacturer offers a 20" turkey barrel that compatable across models. Just a thought. It may be cheaper.

I had an older Remington barrel cut down and threaded for the Colonial choke tubes and it's worked fine all these years. As long as the barrel isn't too thin, you should be able to have it done to your Benelli.

Sgt Sabre is correct....google Mike Orlen Amherst and contact him (by phone on Monday, he is not very email-wired). His work is the best, fastest, and cheapest around.

Threading Benelli Super Nova Tactical for Choke Tubes

I had Carlson's thread my Super Nova Tactical (with rifle sights) for the Tru-Choke system. The Tru-Choke system uses threading that is non-proprietary. Briley's threading-choke system is proprietary.

Go with Carlson's system that way you are not forced to buy your chokes from Briley and you can have custom chokes made for you barrel by other makers. (Note, Carlson's included three of their extended chokes as part of the cost of threading the barrel).

Colonial choke tubes use the same threading as the Tru-Choke system.
