Is it possible for an expirienced gunsmith/machinist to make a cylinder bore shotgun accept screw in choke tubes or an external mounted (ie: HK multi-choke type device?
I know it would be cheaper to get an extra barrel, but they dont exist for the Mossberg 590A1 and I am very partial to the scatergun. I would just like to add a little more versatility.

Hi Carbon,
You are in luck. Briley Mfg here in Houston specializes in threading shotgun barrels for internal screw-in chokes. See their website for more info:

Good shooting and be safe.
