So, I've been playing with the idea of taking the plunge.

I am wanting to limit myself to one compact pistol with changeable uppers (check 8) ) and I want to see about getting a silencer for the .22 caliber upper.

From someone who has a silencer for a .22 and has had to pay the money for it ... is it worth it? I know I've bought guns that I thought were going to be the cream of the crop and I'd never want to get rid of them and then I got rid of them.

So is the tax stamp, the paperwork, the hassle and the like worth the joy of shooting super quiet .22s? Is it something so niche that I'll rarely use it, like my 10mm upper or is it definitely worth it?

Input please? 8)

You have to answer that question. If you think you have spent money on guns wait until you know you can own any of them.

22's are remarkably fun - bolt action silenced, 10/22 silenced or even full auto silenced. I think you will not be disappointed with products from AAC, Gemtech or Silencerco.

Yes, but you will have to shorten the magazine tube if it is flush with the muzzle. A .22 can is absolutely worth it in my opinion.
